Unknown Frank Bell fact #45336: This one time I was at a Dr. Dre concert, and he ironically forgot the words to “Forgot About Dre”. He pulled me on stage and I had to save the performance. Oddly enough, I was drinking a Dr. Pepper at the time, and that became my hip-hop moniker for the entire night. There were talks about Dre and I starting a side project album called “Doctors Orders”, but it fell through when my singer-songwriter career started to take off a bit. True story.

Frank Bell - “Nothing Last FourEver” in studio feat. KeFe
I recently had the pleasure of catching up in the studio w/ Producer master mind, Karl Heilbron (Young Jeezy, Jay Z, 2Pac, Rihanna, Kanye West, Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Soundgarden). I hadn’t see Karl in quite a few years, and I was asked to participate as a guest artist for an audio recording class he was teaching. I played a couple new songs, and a couple old ones, and ended with a different take on my song “Nothing Last FourEver” featuring KeFe who happened to be in studio as well.

Falling into Place
After shooting a gun, the bullet eventually falls as fast to the ground as if it were being dropped from a hand. Simple physics, and yet this fact has always seemed to follow me. The fact that despite the initial speed of the bullet, it still falls like an anvil. Gravity itself being impossible to outrun. Moving fast just to convince ourselves we’re not falling. For the majority of my life - I’ve been the bullet.
